The Community Youth Network (CYN) is a Provincial initiative whose mandate is to provide a variety of services for youth living in or at risk of poverty.
Its inception resulted from a need to decrease barriers to education and/or employment, and improve the quality of life for young people.
The Community Youth Network is funded by the Department of Advanced Education & Skills.

A safe and encouraging environment in which all youth have equal opportunity to achieve personal greatness.
Mission
The mission of the Community Youth Network is to ensure that all youth have equal opportunities to find their place in Newfoundland & Labrador society. The Community Youth Network is dedicated to providing services for youth by offering prevention and early intervention programs through community building and partnerships.
Mandate
The Community Youth Network is mandated to develop a variety of services to support youth from 12 to 25 years of age. These services are intended to encourage participation in social and economic development through:
