Drumdancer Art & Craft Shop
(larger version)
The Drumdancer Art & Crafts Shop is owned and operated by the Labrador Friendship Centre. The shop was officially opened in June 1998 to fulfill the Labrador Friendship Centre's Constitutional Objectives toward the promotion, development, appreciation and preservation of Aboriginal art, crafts and artifacts.

Since the Labrador Friendship Centre is a non-profit charitable organization, the Drumdancer Arts & Crafts Shop must operate on a self-sufficient basis and make its own contribution to the development and preservation of Aboriginal art and crafts.

We try and offer attractions to residents and visitors alike by carrying a wide selection of hand crafted items created by local and coastal artisans. These attractions include soapstone carvings, jewelry, caribou hair sculpture, slippers, tea dolls and many other works of art and crafts. These finished products range from inexpensive to collections items.

The shop provides a VISA, Master Card, American Express, purchase order, and Interact payment system.

The Drumdancer Art & Crafts Shop now has a facebook account where you can view some of the products that are available in the shop. Please search "Drumdancer Arts" and add the craft shop as a friend and/or join the "Drumdancer Arts & Craft Shop" group.

We are located in the Labrador Friendship Centre building at 49 Grenfell Street in Happy Valley - Goose Bay. We are open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
